On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Thurston High School standout Brycen Indell’s current collegiate team the Central Washington Wildcats lost 20-27 against the Western Colorado Mountaineers in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Tomlinson Stadium at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Western Colorado Mountaineers in the tournament.
Oregon junior Simeon Birnbaum broke the collegiate men’s 1500-meter record at Hayward Field during the Oregon Team Invitational. The Ducks secured multiple wins and program records across several events.
Oregon women’s lacrosse ended its season with a home loss against USC while honoring six graduating seniors at Papé Field in Eugene on April 18th.
Sunday, April 19 will see these former Lane County area high school stars in competition.
