Senior outfielders Elon Butler and Amari Harper were named to the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I All-America teams, as announced by the NFCA on May 27 in Eugene, Oregon.
Butler earned first team honors, marking her second career All-America selection, while Harper was named to the third team for her first such recognition. They are the 29th and 30th players in program history to receive NFCA All-America status.
Butler previously received second team All-American honors at California in 2024. In her season with Oregon, she set or tied six single-season records: runs (66), doubles (18), home runs (19), extra base hits (40), total bases (148), and slugging percentage (.881). She is currently the only player leading six different single-season lists at Oregon. The next closest is Katie Wiese with five pitching records. Butler also became the first player in program history to hit for the cycle on April 4 against Iowa, setting school and Big Ten single-game records with six hits during that game and tying an Oregon record by scoring four runs. In addition to these achievements, Butler led Oregon in batting average (.399), hits (67), RBI (59), walks (35), and on-base percentage (.512-tie) for the season. She also led all Duck outfielders with four assists. On Tuesday prior to this announcement, Butler was recognized as a first-team All-American by D1 Softball.
Harper transferred from Texas A&M before joining Oregon’s roster this year. She finished second on the team behind Butler in most offensive categories including batting average (.396), runs scored (47), hits (61), doubles (10), home runs (15), RBI (47), extra base hits (27), and total bases (120). Harper also tied Butler for the club lead in on-base percentage at .512. On April 19, Harper received an AUSL “Golden Ticket,” guaranteeing her a spot in the upcoming AUSL Draft; she was selected No. 14 overall by OKC Spark and will begin her professional career later this month alongside University of Oregon assistant coach Sydney Romero.
Other Ducks earning postseason honors include Emma Cox, Katie Flannery, Lyndsey Grein, Taryn Ho, Kaylynn Jones, Stefini Ma’ake, Elise Sokolsky, and Taylour Spencer.
