Former Willamette High standout Dane Woodcook competes in NCAA Division I baseball on March 28

On Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m., Dane Woodcook, a former Willamette High School standout, played for the New Mexico State Aggies as they fell 8-7 to the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders in an NCAA Division I baseball game.

The contest was held at Reese Smith Jr Field, marking their second meeting with the Blue Raiders this season. The Aggies previously lost 7-5 on Friday, March 27, in their earlier matchup.

Woodcook went 2-for-4 at the plate, scoring one run and recording two strikeouts.

The Aggies are set to face the Blue Raiders again at Reese Smith Jr Field on Sunday, March 29.
