Four student-athletes from the University of Oregon were named All-Americans by the National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association after the 2026 NCATA National Championships, according to an April 26 announcement. This achievement matches the program’s record for most selections in a single season.
The recognition highlights continued success for Oregon’s acrobatics and tumbling team, which has seen consistent individual honors over recent years.
Senior Blessyn McMorris, sophomore Carly Garcia, and junior Ashlyn Parlett received first-team All-America honors. Sophomore Angelica Martin was named to the second team. McMorris became one of only 13 athletes in program history to earn multiple All-America selections, anchoring Oregon’s top-scoring pyramid event during her final year. She also earned NCATA Athlete of the Week twice and Specialist of the Week in Week 4 after contributing to high scores in pyramid events.
Garcia achieved first-team recognition for the first time after helping Oregon win the trio tumbling event final with a score of 9.150 earlier that day. Parlett also made her debut as a first-team selection by delivering strong routines in both pyramid and toss events; she was recognized as NCATA Athlete of the Week in Week 3.
Martin earned second-team honors for her steady performances throughout the season as a base on Oregon’s lineup. Additionally, Nicole Jackson received the Louise Goodman Academic Achievement Award for having the highest cumulative grade-point average among juniors or seniors at teams competing at nationals.
Twenty-one student-athletes from Oregon were named to this year’s NCATA Academic Honor Roll. Since its inception sixteen years ago, Oregon has produced thirty-six All-America selections from twenty-one student-athletes—both figures ranking second-most nationally since acrobatics and tumbling became an official sport. The Ducks have had multiple All-Americans each year for four consecutive seasons under head coach Taylor Susnara.
