The Oregon men’s golf team was announced as the No. 11 seed at the NCAA Columbus Regional on May 6. The tournament is scheduled to take place from May 18 to May 20 at the OSU Golf Club’s Scarlet Course.

This marks the Ducks’ 19th straight appearance in postseason play and their 32nd overall regional berth. The team will be competing for a spot in the NCAA Championships, aiming for their third trip in five years and the program’s 13th under head coach Casey Martin.

The Scarlet Course, originally built in 1938 and renovated with oversight from Jack Nicklaus in 2005-06, measures just over 7,400 yards as a par-71 layout. Florida holds the top seed for this regional, followed by Arizona State and Stanford. Long Beach State and Florida State round out the top five seeds.

According to tournament rules, the low five teams and low individual not on an advancing team from each regional will move on to compete at the national championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 29 to June 3.

The full list of seeds for the Columbus Regional includes Auburn (1), Arizona State (2), Stanford (3), Long Beach State (4), Florida State (5), Utah (6), South Carolina (7), California (8), USF (9), Memphis (10), Oregon (11), Illinois State (12) and Wright State (13).

Martin has led Oregon through numerous successful seasons. The team’s continued presence at regionals reflects ongoing consistency within collegiate golf.
