The Oregon men’s golf team finished in second place at the 2026 Duck Invitational on their home course, according to a March 24 announcement.

The result is significant for the Ducks as they improved from a tie for fourth entering the final round, capitalizing on familiar conditions despite challenging weather with wind and rain. Their performance sets a positive tone as they prepare for another tournament later in the week.

Sophomore Ramil Saelim posted his best score of the tournament with a final-round 68, while Aiden Krafft opened with a five-under-par 66 and ultimately secured individual runner-up honors—his best finish on home turf. The Ducks completed the event ten strokes behind ninth-ranked Illinois, who claimed the team title with a five-over-par total.

Krafft played an error-free first round and managed four birdies in his opening effort. He finished Tuesday’s last round one under par after starting strong and making three consecutive birdies late. Krafft ended up just five strokes behind Max Herendeen of Illinois, who won individual honors. Saelim climbed twenty-eight spots up the leaderboard during his comeback final round, highlighted by three back-nine birdies that led him to seventh place individually.

Other notable performances included freshman Casper Nerpin finishing six over par for the tournament and Jeffrey Kwak placing twelfth overall after an impressive opening-round score of 69 while competing individually. Oscar Lent and Sebastian Desoisa made their debuts for Oregon but faced tough starts that left them further down in scoring.

Looking ahead, Oregon will travel to Northern California for The Goodwin tournament beginning March 26.
