The Oregon men’s golf team will host the 36th Annual Duck Invitational, a two-day, 54-hole tournament starting Monday, March 23. The event will take place at Eugene Country Club, with play beginning at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time each day.
The Duck Invitational is an important event for the Oregon team as they return to defend their title after winning last year’s tournament. The Ducks secured the championship in 2025 by overcoming a tie in the final round and performing strongly on the back nine.
Several key players are returning for this year’s competition. Ramil Saelim and Jeffrey Kwak both finished in the top ten last year, with Saelim tying for third place and Kwak finishing two strokes behind him. Aiden Krafft also returns after an even-par performance in last year’s tournament. The Ducks recently achieved their best finish of the season with a second-place result at the Bandon Dunes Championship earlier in March.
This year’s field includes fifteen teams, among them three from the Big Ten Conference: Illinois (ranked ninth), Iowa, and Michigan State. Other participating schools include Boise State, Cincinnati, Fullerton, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Hawaii-Hilo, Idaho, Oregon State, San Jose State, Saint Mary’s, and UTEP.
Oregon’s lineup features five players who competed in last year’s Duck Invite: Aiden Krafft (senior), Ramil Saelim (sophomore), Sebastian Desoisa (freshman), Oscar Lent (freshman), and Casper Nerpin (senior). Individual competitors include Jeffrey Kwak (junior), Kyreece Romero (junior), Tim Chang (sophomore), and Teddy Vigna (freshman).
The Duck Invitational returns to Eugene Country Club for its twenty-fifth time. Since its inception, Oregon has won twelve team titles and produced eleven individual champions at this event. Head Coach Casey Martin is leading the Ducks in his twentieth season; under his guidance, Oregon has made eighteen NCAA Regional appearances and eleven NCAA Championship appearances.
