62 percent of applicants to Northwest Christian University were admitted for fall 2018

At Northwest Christian University, 66 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Eugene enrolled 800 students in fall 2018, including 593 in undergraduate and 207 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

69 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oregon, and 30 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (68 percent) and two or more races (9 percent).

The school admitted 62 percent of the 479 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 33 percent enrolled.
