Cost of college went up for all students at Northwest Christian University

Tuition and fees rose 4.8 percent for 2018-19 at Northwest Christian University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oregon students paid $30,050 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,370 more than the $28,680 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 102 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.8 million and 79 students took out student loans totaling more than $514,553.

Including all undergraduates (800), 515 students used grants or scholarships totaling $7.6 million, and 398 students took out $2.8 million in federal student loans.
