Lane County ranked 22nd among counties in Oregon by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Lane County residents was $26,061 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 152,312 households with a population of 373,340.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Washington County with $38,189 per year after adjusting for inflation – $12,128 more than Lane County. It had 219,053 households with a population of 589,481.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Wheeler County with $21,543 per year after adjusting for inflation – $4,518 less than Lane County. It had 640 households with a population of 1,415.
