Lane County ranked 21st among counties in Oregon by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Lane County residents was $25,018 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 150,780 households with a population of 368,882.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Washington County with $36,308 per year after adjusting for inflation – $11,290 more than Lane County. It had 216,507 households with a population of 581,821.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Wheeler County with $20,313 per year after adjusting for inflation – $4,705 less than Lane County. It had 661 households with a population of 1,426.
