Bushnell University issued the following announcement on Feb. 26.
Meet Kade McClaugherty, a local of Canby, Oregon! He is majoring in secondary education and will graduate this year. He currently spends the majority of his time at Saint Paul Parish School (where he teaches Spanish), but he intends to continue his education and pursue a master's degree in school counseling!
For the second half of sophomore year, Kade spent a semester in Cusco, Peru. In his junior year, he joined the student programs team. Kade also participates in orientation, serving in roles such as fish group leader and student orientation coordinator.
Kade's advice: "Get involved! The best decision I made during my time here was running for student government my freshman year. Getting involved early on helped me make a lot of friends around campus and led me to take on more responsibility and new jobs in my later years here. My favorite thing about attending Bushnell is how easy it is to get involved in student leadership."
