Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar. 30.
Join us to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting for Salt& Straw at 139 Oakway Road inthe Oakway Center, Thursday, April 7 at 4pm, and stay for ice cream, surprise guests and entertainment.
Salt & Straw will have a Grand Opening to the public Friday, April 8 at 11 am, with school bands performing and surprise guests starting at 6 pm. and invite you to stop in and try their ‘wildly
popular and inventive ice cream.’
True to the Chamber spirit, Salt & Straw works with local Eugene companies, including Singing Dog Vanilla and Red Ape Cinnamon, and we look forward to welcoming them into our community. Their mission is as sweet as it gets: “Using ice cream as a platform, we pioneer and share experiences that inspire and connect us all.”
In addition to Eugene, Salt & Straw runs four Portland scoop shops and others in San Diego, Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Francisco, Seattle and Miami.
