UPDATE April 8, 2022:
Dustin Eugene Bridges was sentenced yesterday, April 7, and was taken into custody for Department of Corrections time concurrent for 50 months total on the following charges:
Delivery of Methamphetamine over 100 grams (50 months DOC),
Attempted delivery of Heroin (26 months DOC),
PCS Meth (12 months DOC),
PCS Heroin (12 months DOC),
Felon in Possession of a Firearm (12 months DOC)

Update:
Yesterday, December 30, Street Crimes Unit learned that Bridges had hidden a handgun in his vehicle during last week’s traffic stop. SCU applied for and was granted a search warrant to recover the handgun, which they located. Upon inspection the serial number had been obliterated. SCU charged Bridges with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Obliteration of Identification Number of a Firearm.

Street Crimes Unit Activity Results in Seizures of Guns and Drugs
On December 23, at 3:20 p.m., Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit officers were in the W. 18th/Pierce area. Two officers contacted a male pedestrian, later identified as Dwayne Allen Parham, age 32, of Springfield, who committed a pedestrian violation. He reported to be canning in the area. A bit later, an officer observed Parham hide methamphetamines in the rear bumper of his truck after speaking with another man. Both men got into vehicles and officers were able to stop the two vehicles at the same time: the pickup driven by Parham, and a Chrysler 300 driven by Dustin Eugene Bridges, age 37, of Springfield. Bridges was found to be Driving While Suspended. During a mobile vehicle search of Bridges’ vehicle, officers found almost one pound methamphetamine and one half pound of heroin. This stop was within 1,000 feet of Cesar Chavez Elementary School. Bridges was charged with Delivery of Heroin, Possession of Heroin 1 Gram or More, Delivery of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Methamphetamine 2 Grams or More. Parham was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine Prior Felony Conviction, and Driving While Suspended. Case Number 19-21278
