LANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: The names of three fallen law enforcement officers were unveiled at the Oregon Fallen Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall today

Lane County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on May 4. 

The names of three fallen law enforcement officers were unveiled at the Oregon Fallen Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall today.  Among those unveiled were Lane County Sheriff’s Sergeant Carl L. Frazier.  Sergeant Frazier died following an on-duty heart attack on Tuesday, October 9th, 1979.  Frazier had been assigned full-time to the Florence area at the time of his death.  

The Oregon Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall now includes the names of 192 fallen Oregon law enforcement officers dating back to the 1860’s.  Douglas County Sheriff's Deputy S. Allen Burdic and Oregon State Police Sergeant John R. Burright were also added to the memorial wall.
