Eugene Police Department issued the following announcement on May 10.
At 3:22 p.m., Eugene Police officers were called to respond to a trespasser at Willamette High School, 1801 Echo Hollow Road. The trespasser, in their teens and not a student, was instantly detained and while they were in handcuffs, an officer noted the person had a firearm in their pants pocket.
The teen has been charged with Criminal Trespass in the First Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and transported to Serbu Juvenile Justice Center. Case 22-07205
