City of Lowell issued the following announcement on May 18.
Lane County Public Works has started construction on sidewalk and pedestrian improvements within the city.
The vicinity map to the right shows the affected areas along W. Boundary Rd., Pioneer St., and E. Main St. Also to the right is a timeline for the project. The timeline shows construction ending in mid-July.

During construction, motorists may encounter detours around affected roads or intersections.
