Lane County - OR issued the following announcement on June 8.
On Thursday, June 16, at 11:00 a.m. Lane County will host a panel discussion and input session to present and gather feedback on the proposed 42-bed behavioral health stabilization center.
Panel members will include Lane County Commissioner Laurie Trieger, Captain Clint Riley from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, Shana Mart from Lane County Behavioral Health, Alicia Beymer from PeaceHealth, and Jennifer Maclean from National Alliance on Mental Illness.
The 42-bed facility has been in planning phases for several years and is now actively seeking a site. Part of that process includes engaging the community to explain the intended purpose of the facility, answer any questions, and gather feedback.
The discussion will take place live as a Zoom webinar and is open to all community members.
