City of Oakridge issued the following announcement on June 15.
NOTICE OF ELECTION
OF MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
FOR THE CITY OF OAKRIDGE
Notice is hereby given that on November 8, 2022 an election will be held for the purpose of electing a Mayor and three (3) persons to the Oakridge City Council to fill the following positions: Council positions: Mayor four (4) year term and City Council Two(2) four-year terms and One (1) two-year term. Each candidate for an office listed above must be a resident of the City of Oakridge for at least one full year prior to the election and a registered voter of the City of Oakridge. Oakridge City staff is not eligible for candidacy. Election packets may be picked up at Oakridge City Hall, 48318 E. 1st Street, Oakridge, during normal business hours starting June 15, 2022 or printed off from this website. Perfected petitions must be submitted to Lane County Elections Office no later than 5:00 p.m. August 30, 2022. Petitions received after August 30, 2022 at the Lane County Elections office will not qualify for inclusion on the November General Election Ballot. You can turn your petitions in to City Hall, no later than August 24, 2022 to ensure Lane County Elections can verify signatures.
