Now hiring for 911 calltakers and dispatchers

Now Hiring! Central Lane 9-1-1 center has job openings for 911 Telecommunicators. Telecommunicators are often the first point of contact (the first “first responders”) when the public reaches out for help, and they are required to gather and relay information from people who are under extreme stress, while remaining calm and composed. Central Lane 9-1-1 stands out as an employment opportunity. This is full time employment and overtime opportunities exist. Successful applicants must be available for shift work (days, swings, nights) including working weekends and holidays.  Successful candidates will have supportive co-workers and must themselves be excellent team members.
