Springfield’s Bagged Leaf Pickup Program

You’ve probably noticed that leaves have started falling to the ground. That means it’s almost time for Springfield’s Bagged Leaf Pickup Program. We’re one month away from the start of this year’s program which begins Monday, November 28th for residents west of 28th/31st Street and Monday, December 5th if you live east of 28th/31st Street.

All you have to do is gather your leaves and place them in medium-sized garbage bags. Then put the bags on the curb by 7 a.m. on the start date for your area and we’ll pick them up for free. It can take more than two weeks for all bags to be picked up within each part of the City depending on the weather and the number of bags set out for pick up.

Pledge to properly dispose of your leaves for your chance to win a $100 gift card to a local home improvement store. Full program information and pledge details can be found here: http://bit.ly/SpfldORLeafPickup
