The community is invited to weigh in on the key solutions to the challenges we face in the heart of our community. As we evaluate these challenges, the City of Eugene has launched an online survey to hear from the community on the priorities that should guide future projects and programs in downtown Eugene.
Through interviews with key stakeholders and focus group meetings, a set of topic areas has emerged: housing, events and culture, commercial activity, public spaces, public safety, and social services. The public is now invited to provide input on projects and programs that will support our community’s vision for downtown. The survey responses will build on the input collected at the Open House held earlier in November.
The survey will be open until Sunday, December 4. More information about this effort, including a link to the survey, can be found at: https://www.eugene-or.gov/4723/Downtown-Priorities-Projects. The public can also sign up there to receive project updates including when City Council will discuss next steps for the priorities and projects that emerge from this process.
