Springfield Public Library patrons no longer need to fumble in their wallet, bag, or purse to find their library card – all their library information is now at their fingertips with the Lane Libraries OR app on their smartphone.
“We are very excited to be able to offer this app to our patrons,” said Library Director Emily David. “Patrons can search the catalog, place holds, check their due dates and parents can even add their children’s cards and easily move between them at check-out time.”
The new app also works with other Lane County Libraries including the Fern Ridge, Cottage Grove, and Creswell libraries and joins the expanding list of apps offered by the library, including Libby and Mango languages.
To download the app, visit your app store and search for ‘Lane Libraries OR’ or call the Springfield Public Library at 541.726.3766 for more information.
