Franklin Blvd. Transformation Open House

8

Franklin Boulevard’s current design encourages high travel speeds, which acts as a significant barrier for people traveling by foot, bus, and bike. The City is planning to transform the corridor with protected and connected bikeways, sidewalks, intersections, and dual EmX lanes. The February 2, 2023 Open House seeks to update community members who have previously engaged with the project, introduce the project to new community members, and ask for feedback on the current design draft. Talk with the project team, engage with design presentations, and collaborate with fellow community members. Community input will be incorporated into the design as it moves forward from planning to engineering.

For those who can’t make the in-person open house, an online option will be available online at https://engage.eugene-or.gov/franklin-boulevard-transformation.

When: Drop in anytime on February 2, 2023 between 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
