On Friday, March 13, Victoria Nguyen, a former Willamette High School star, contributed to her college team, the Western Washington Vikings, as they earned a 74-60 victory over the Point Loma Sea Lions in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

Nicholson Arena hosted the game at 2:30 p.m., marking the Vikings’ initial tournament meeting with the Point Loma Sea Lions.

The Western Washington Vikings are scheduled to compete again on Saturday, March 14, at 5 p.m. at Nicholson Arena.
